So with the busiest parts of the year over now, theres much more time to sit back and notice our surroundings. Just over the past few days I’ve found it harder and harder to leave the warm comfy flannelette bedsheets of a morning and get myself ready for the day. My morning cup of tea is encased with fresh crisp air that even smells like the change of season. The atmosphere is completely different and most of the flowers are no longer in bloom. Its nearing the cozy time of the year… my favourite! Except cold toes… no one likes cold toes…

So what is cozy? Cozy is being warm and fuzzy with content. Cozy is a warm tea to heat up our sore frozen hands and a hot bath at the end of the day to keep ease of movement in our bodies. Cozy is a heated massage with fluffy towels fresh from the dryer. Wearing a pair of slippery socks across the kitchen floor. A frostbite of snowflakes on our faces as we collect wood from the woodpile. That extra scoop of ice cream and milo- no judgement, we’re all human! Cozy is comfort.

Life during the colder months should be slower, more comfortable, more absorbent.

Just remember to ask yourself: Is it healthy, or is it in moderation?
